    He Struggled with Handwriting & Reading;
    His mum found a solution

    Kim's mum, Emma, noticed her son was struggling in his first year of school. His handwriting was messy, he had trouble with reading and writing simple words, and he was guessing words instead of reading.
    The family had a trip planned and mum worried that when being away from school, he'd fall even further behind in his learning. Emma enrolled Kim in the Foundation 1 Program. Even though he already had some reading skills, she knew he needed the opportunity to ‘relearn’ and to fill in the gaps he missed in the classroom, like correct letter formation and linking sounds to letters.
    The program's interactive, flexible videos were perfect for their travel, allowing them to learn and explore in their own time. In just three months, the change was remarkable. Kim's reading and writing skills improved dramatically, and he was well on his way to being at grade level.
    His mum loved that the program kept him focused and on track, no matter where they were.

    "In many ways he has learnt more in this short time than what he did in the first year of school," says Emma.
